He won Prizes many at international Competitions in Korea and Europe: 1996 the second Prize of Kyoto "Opera Singing Concour" in Kyoto, Japan, 1997 the second prize of "Citta die Lodi" International Competition in Italy, 2001 grand prize of “l Barbiere di Siviglia " International Competition in Lecce, Italy, the third prize of 43 Concorso internazionale per voci verdiane "Citta di Busseto in Italy. 2002 won a prize of The Queen Sonja International Music Competition and a finalist of Vinas International Competition in Spain.
